Initial Contact
We may contact your business through our marketing efforts or you may contact us by phone or email. During this contact we will describe our services by email, messenger, phone or with a brochure. If you are interested in proceeding we will set up a phone or video conference (or in person after COVID 19) meeting time with you.
Initial Planning Meeting
For no charge we will meet by phone or video conference (or in person after COVID 19) at a mutually acceptable time for reviewing the general requirements and objectives for your website. In this meeting we will schedule and plan the agenda for the subsequent Discovery meeting. We will also determine what additional information you can provide us about your objectives and current specifications for the website. This meeting may include other key interested parties in your organization. After this meeting we will provide you with a cost and suggested agenda for the Discovery meeting.
Discovery Meeting
This will be by phone or video conference (or may be in person after COVID 19) and may include several key interested parties in your organization. The agenda of this meeting will allow us to determine the following, for example: the purpose of your site, the message you want to convey, your logo and/or header, color schemes, pages desired, and general content. This should be comprehensive enough to permit us to prepare a draft proposal for the website specifications which we will send to you.
Proposal and Cost Estimate
We will provide you with a written estimate for the design and website specifications and for the ongoing support of your site. This will be based on the specifications we had agreed upon during the Discovery meeting and during any subsequent conversations. It will also outline the content, graphics and images to be provided by you. If you agree we will proceed based on the terms and cost estimates of the proposal.
Site Setup
Site set-up includes registering your domain name(s), setup on the hosting service, setup of WordPress, and installation and setup of editing tools and plugins, including Gutenberg blocks.
Collect Content
We will work closely with you to obtain the information and images you would like on each page and to discuss the layout of the pages.
Draft and Test Pages
We will design each page in an attractive layout with the content you have provided to us and conforming to the best SEO practices. The draft pages will be thoroughly tested to be sure all components are working properly.
Publish Site
Once you have approved the pages we will publish your site, update SEO information, and continue to tweak it. The site may be published before all pages are complete.
Promotion
We will help and encourage you to promote your site in any way possible including on social media, through email marketing, with blog posts, with advertising and more.
Site Maintenance
We will continue to work closely with you to keep your site updated, to add desired content, to improve your SEO and to take advantage of new WordPress features.
